Though based on classical raags, the teaching style is adapted to the special needs and moods of Jeena children. Based on the child’s interest, teachers will make time for teaching instruments such as tabla, harmonium and sitar. Apart from weekly classes, the group also performs in public events 2 or 3 times a year.
Age 5 and upward. Parents are encouraged and expected to participate, extended family members are more than welcome to join.
Fee: $200 per month – one class for one hour per week. Checks are payable to Habib Khan.
