Perhaps the gods were tired

and luck was short

We came in this word

it isn’t our fault

Parent’s joined the struggle

did everything right

When the time came

jumped in to fight

Some don’t walk

some don’t have words

That doesn’t matter

we will take on worlds

When we look at night

it is full of dark

We spend hours

to find any spark

The road is unpaved

and full of dirt

We won’t give up

won’t spare effort

One step at a time

we go a mile

Celebrate it there

with a big smile

The journey is difficult

and full of pain

But if it is necessary

we will do it again
